Mark de Clive-Lowe about this colaboration: Take the Space Trane is unlike anything i’ve done before – it features a full big band in head-on collision with the electronic beats and club sounds. 5 saxophones, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, bass n drums plus me on MPC beats, synths, rhodes, clavinet… reworking some of my club classics – ‘Relax…Unwind‘, ‘El Dia Perfecto‘, ‘Heaven‘ and more as well as a flip of the jazz standard ‘Caravan‘ and some brand new tunes i composed especially for this project. The album was recorded live with the big band in Rotterdam and we’re super excited to finally be bringing it to music lovers far and wide!
